Buying a Home

Listing

When you list your home with a realtor, you sign a contract between you and the realtor which states the listing price and terms of sale, the real estate commission, and agency and salesperson responsibilities. Your realtor will most likely be a member of RMLS (Regional Marketing Listing Service), and will be able to input your home's information into the online version of RMLS. In RMLS, the home's features, price, and pictures of the home are then available to anyone with access to a computer and the internet. This is a critical step as 80% of all homebuyers begin their search on the computer.
